Chlorella is an organism that belongs to the single-celled freshwater algae. We owe her all the richness, minerals, vitamins, phytochemicals and macronutrients because it can also be a source of protein. Chlorella can be a vegan source of iron that can usually be found in meat and vitamin B12, which should be supplemented by people on a vegan diet. It is documented that people who consumed microalgae had higher levels of vitamin B12 than vegans giving them up on their diet.
